About the GSTPA
The Grand Sham Tournament Players Association (GSTPA) is an unsanctioned organization responsible for the administration and oversight of organized play conducted under its authority.
The Association maintains competitive events through the GSTPA Tour and is responsible for the application of standards, conditions, and participant conduct.
In addition to its administrative role, the Association observes player behavior and performance across a broad population of participants.
These observations are recorded and made available for review.
The GSTPA does not seek to change golf.
The game persists precisely because it cannot be resolved.
The Association seeks to document the lived experience of those who continue to play it.

About the GSTPA Tour
The GSTPA Tour conducts a series of tournaments aligned with golf’s major championships.
Contested on weekends concurrent with golf's Grand Slam, these competitions are open to contestants through a qualifying process that remains event-specific.
Participants compete under conditions consistent with the game as it is commonly played. Though wildly popular, these events produce outcomes that are sometimes difficult to explain.
The Tour maintains no official standing within the golf community.
Its presence has been described as controversial. In some cases, unsettling.
